Be Alive

There are times in life when it seems that every decision you make is the wrong one. If only we could know the outcomes of those decisions in advance...it would definitely change the trajectory of our lives.

But, would we really want to know the outcome of our decisions in advance? Would we really want to change what seemed like missed opportunities, failed attempts, and wrong turns? What about when the wrong turned into something great! When the failure turned into a great success! When we realized that that wrong decision was the best thing that could have happened!

And then there are the valuable lessons learned on the journey...what for those? Without the hardships there can be no lessons. Your are not truly ALIVE if you do not continually have opportunities to learn and grow. What may seem like bad or wrong decisions can be our greatest moments to become better, to do better, and to find out who we really are.

In the words of the great Ms. Frizzle..."Go ahead, take changes, make mistakes"...and be ALIVE!
