On Purpose

So many of us ask the inexplainable question..."Lord, why...?" We could make an unending list of "why" questions that may never be answered while here on this earth. Some of us let the "why " situations in life cripple us...bring our lives to a screaching hault. Let's face it, it hurts when we lose a loved one, a job, our sense of well being, health, etc. I'm not going to try to convince you that "everything will be ok" or that "everything happens for a reason". These comments do not offer comfort in the midst of a season of "why".

Instead I will ask you to consider, what if we continued living life "on purpose"? What if we allowed God to be God and surrendered our purpose over to Him? What if we recognized that God does have a purpose and there is a larger plan that what we are not priviledged to right now. God will not let the enemy have the last laugh in your life...God is in control.

Pray that God will let you see your life from His perspective. Acknowledge to God that you do not understand why something is happening. Ask God to turn your every sorrow into indescribable joy! Gos is love - there is nothing that will change His character or nature and that is POWERFUL!

Live life on PURPOSE...God's purpose inspite of the season you find yourself.
